Company History
Omega Aviation began business in 1997 with two aircraft and company principals who had more than 30 years of experience working in a corporate aviation. We have grown by serving a base of loyal core of corporate and charter customers who have supported our steady, sure expansion. Today Omega Aviation has a fleet of 15 jets, helicopter and a turboprop aircraft operated by a team of highly skilled pilots, maintenance engineers and support staff. Over the years we have earned a reputation for integrity and take pride in having delivered nearly a decade of incident free service.

Safety
In addition to our company culture that champions strict regulatory compliance, Omega Aviation has developed an in-house Safety Management System (SMS) to make sure we are always operating our business jets and helicopters as safely as possible. Every employee is thoroughly and continuously trained to utilize the Safety Management System to minimize risk in every area of operations. They also follow detailed change management procedures that assess risk - and develop measures to minimize it - with every major operational change. An independent auditor conducts an annual review of our operations to ensure optimum performance.
Training
Omega Aviation hires qualified pilots for their proactive attitude toward safety and customer service and provides annual recurrent skills training that exceeds Transport Canada requirements. Pilots receive training utilizing the most advanced, state-of-the-art simulators from Flight Safety and Simuflight.
Omega Aviation maintenance staff are all factory trained, and we provide additional training in quality control through our in-house quality assurance system. A Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO), Omega Aviation insists on the most stringent regulatory compliance to ensure the safety and reliability of all aircraft. Our modern, fully equipped facility enables us to conduct daily inspection and cleaning to keep the Omega Aviation fleet in top condition.
