Shawn brings over 28 years of aircraft maintenance experience in fixed and rotary wing aircraft. He began in Canada’s Air force maintaining fighters, maritime patrol aircraft, gas turbine engines and complex propeller systems. Completing 10 years of military service, he entered the civil aviation, corporate and charter environment and has held positions maintaining and managing maintenance on aircraft for heavy maintenance facilities as well as commercial, corporate and private operators.
Shawn’s extensive experience and expertise with Cessna and Cessna Citation aircraft and Pratt & Whitney power plants ensures a solid base as the Omega Director of Maintenance. Shawn holds an aircraft category M1 and M2 AME license with ratings on several types of aircraft and is currently undergoing training to obtain his private pilot license.
