Gary Grass

Safety Management Systems Project Manager and Quality ManagerWith 28 years in aviation maintenance, flight operations, education and training – Gary holds a Commercial Pilot licence, fixed and rotary wing maintenance licence, teaching credentials and has been involved at all levels of aviation safety, training and operations management for most of his career. His first formal Safety Management credentials were earned in 1984 while serving in the Canadian Air Force. He taught four years at one of Canada’s most prestigious post secondary aircraft maintenance institutions, the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and for two years at Canada’s most successful Instrument Flight School, Vancouver Professional IFR. He has lectured on Safety Management and Quality Programs at many North American aviation conferences, and holds an elected Board and Editorial Chair position with the Pacific AME Association. Is a member of COPA, the EAA, and Warbirds of America.
